Two New JPCs to UNICEF Peru!!!

Mr. Olaolu Adeleye is one to two JPCs carrying on our proud relationship with UNICEF, Lima and more broadly speaking, our deployments in South America. Olaolu is providing critical capacity enhancement there as a Programme and PFP (Private Fundraising Partnerships) Liaison. His duties include collaborating with the 4 program areas (education, protection, health and social policy) to synthesize the work of UNICEF Peru and help the PFP team reformulate their approaches to potential business donors by creating new materials that incorporate the technical aspects of the programs, yet still remain business friendly. Olaolu holds and Master's of Science in Poverty Reduction from the University of London.

Rosette Gagnon-Belanger deployed at virtually the same time as Olaolu and works in a similar communications capacity. She holds an MA in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa where she did major research work in Wu Han, China.

We wish both JPCs well and hope their time is fruitful for each. UNA-Canada, where possible, endeavours to send multiple JPCs to similar UN agencies which on the one hand enhances response capacity of those host organizations, while on the other providing key friendship bonds between JPCs who deploy to the same country offices at the same time.
