Recently back from a successful monitoring and partnership building trip to Nepal and Thailand, the UNPPP Manager is now following up on promising leads for engaging new placement opportunities expanding beyond these regions.
UNDP Nepal is currently hosting 5 JPCs who are extending their contracts with UNDP into 2014. This office now has two opportunities open for new JPCs interested in Disaster Risk Management and Poverty and Inclusion units.
The UN Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament is eagerly awaiting their next JPC in Kathmandu in early 2014 (get your application in now for this!).

Brand new opportunities are expected to come available in 2014 with the UN Capital Development Fund on a LoCAL project in Mali and Benin. Watch for new openings with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees across South East Asia. The UNDP in India will likely be partnering with the UNPP for the first time next year as well! Watch for these and other new and exciting postings to come.
